Wish List

Don't get me wrong, I would not wish bodily harm on anyone and the current owners do fantastic jobs, but there are some things I'd love to have the fanlisting for. They are listed in alphabetical order by category, not in order of what they mean to me. :)

Animation: Mulan

I am notorious for disliking animated movies, but I've loved Mulan since I saw it the first time years ago. The setting, the story, the characters, and not to mention the fact that it is based on Chinese legend, combine to make it a movie I can't help but love. The character Mulan is such a wonderful combination of, on one hand, awkwardness and insecurity, and on the other loyalty and determination.

Characters: Padmé Amidala

A lot of times my favorite characters are minor ones, or main characters that nobody seems to see in quite the light I do, but Padmé has this sort of universal appeal. I know a good many people who wouldn't call her their favorite, but I don't know anyone who doesn't like her. She is proud (in the best of ways), determined, confident, loyal, and does her duty whatever the cost. And yet, with all of that, she is still a balance of strengths and weaknesses. Her main weakness, or perhaps her greatest strength, is her love that is so unconditional, her unwillingness to believe anything but the best of those she cares for.
